Missing friends? Get them to accept your friendship!
We've recently changed the way that friends are added to maps so that both people must accept the friendship to verify that you are indeed friends.
It's very easy to accept or reject a friendship. Just sign in and visit your My Map page, any pending friend requests you have will be listed at the top of your page just below the map for you to accept or reject. Accepting the friendship will then add the friend to your map and you to their map.
If you had friends on your map before the change that are suddenly missing, send them a reminder message to accept your friendship!

Start a conversation!
Want to get people talking? Have a random thought, opinion, or debate you want to share with your friends and neighbors? Just visit your My Map page and Start A Conversation to create a new conversation.
You can think of conversations like persistant chats, similar to forums but a lot less complicated to use and participate in. Once you start a conversation others can then view it, catch up on the history, and reply in real time or at a later date when convenient.
Remember, you must be signed in to reply to conversations. If you aren't already a member, sign up for free.
If you feel like giving us feedback, join the MyMapSpace conversation.

Go local
Want to find new places or meet new people in your local area? Just click the name of your local city on your personal My Map page or use the new Locals directory. You will be redirected to a local community map where you can view all other MyMapSpace members in your city and each others favorite places.
This is a great way to discover new restaurants, bars, clubs, stores, and more in your area. You can even meet new friends you never knew were living next door! What are you waiting for? And if you're in the area, check out El Segundo.

Like our design?
We're pretty happy with the way the site looks. Much of that is due to the graphic design talents of Michael. Check out his MyMapSpace for more info and let him know what you think!
